Local historian Doug Barberio was also on hand to describe the operations of the Maybrook Yard

The Maybrook Railroad Museum's pictures and exhibits illustrated what was a one of largest most busiest yards on the east coast.

The Maybrook Yard at one time featured railroads like the New Haven, Erie, L&HR, and the O&W

The highlight of the trip was the New Haven's Poughkeepsie Bridge over the Hudson River.

On this day there were no trains to be seen at the long abandoned bridge. However we did see USCG Buoy Tender 552 Katherine Walker steaming up the Hudson.
