A new video has been added on Making Resistor Wheelsets for model railroad train detection and signaling. It can be found in the PROJECTS section or by clicking here.

August 02, 2014

The HO Gauge railroad has undergone an extensive rewiring project that is nearing completion. During the work, the location of the main DCC control and boosters were moved to consolidate all of the control centers. The final phase is wire the new interlocking for detection and signal installation. The dual double track truss bridges were repaired and upgraded while they were removed for installation of the new interlocking project.

July 18, 2014

Roadbed has begun to be installed on the new interlocking and branch line connection on the HO Gauge. By the end of August the mainline trackwork will be completed and most of the work on the first phase of the new and connecting branchline trackwork.

June 11, 2014

Work continues on the O Gauge with work on installing a new yard control panel. Work on repairing the trackwork and overhead wire of the O Gauge trolley line is progressing.

June 08, 2014

Subroadbed has started to be installed for the new interlocking and branchline connection on the HO layout. Once the framing is complete, the new track arrangement will be laid out and installed. Most of the intricate switchwork required is being built on the workbench then moved into place.

MAY 20, 2014

The new web site is up and running with more additions and features to be added. Work continues on both the HO and O Gauge layouts. Planning for the O-Scale convention in 2015 continues.

MAY 07, 2014

A new dual mirrored computer system with dual 24" widescreen monitors has been installed on the HO layout. These systems have dual processors, 12gb of memory and dual 2tb hard drives
